A Welcome Giveaway
Hello. I have raw food snack box to giveaway. The competition starts today. More about that below. But firstly, I am so excited today to reveal my new blog site. What do you think of the new look? Though it is sill work in progress, I’ve made it easier for you to navigate around and find the information you need, whether you are looking for recipe inspiration or for our handy travel tips, complete with restaurant reviews. There is now a product review page, too. So you can find out what delectable plant based foods are available to purchase in stores. Health, Interviews, News & Tips, will be available soon.
Last week I uncovered a new and exciting snack company, Moral Fibre Foods, who are busy in their Hertfordshire HQ, mixing and rolling a delicious range of ‘bites’, ‘balls’ and super crunchy raw crackers. They have created delightfully healthy snacks with fabulous flavours. We are talking guilt free snacking. They come in cute little tubs and packets to stave of hunger and make you giggle with a ‘food happy’ (well, they did me..especially the crackers, and their Choco Banananut Bites).
The sweet folk at Moral Fibre have decided to donate a box of their fabulous snacks to one lucky winner. The snack box will include flavour infusions such as Raspberry Cocolossal, Figberry, Exotic Seedy Bites and their delicious savoury raw chilli crackers (I’ve travelled far and tasted many, many raw crackers..these are the best yet!). Glee!
I was curious to know a bit about the people behind the snack. I discovered Moral Fibre Food was created by a native of Sydney, Australia who sought to replace her love of her high sugar, high fat bakes and cakes with a healthier alternative. Free of gluten, sugar and additives. So Jenny looked back to her roots to remember the natural, healthy food her health conscious mother created for her family back in the 50’s. This is the type of food she craved.
Jenny told me ‘When I couldn’t find what I was looking for on the market, I started to experiment, modify recipes and create new ones based on flavours, textures and cuisines that inspired me. During this process I discovered raw food and Colin T Campbell’s book - The China Study. This path led me to creating a range of healthy, sweet and savoury snacks that I wanted people of all ages and preferences to enjoy.
And the Moral Fibre name? Jenny said, ‘It literally came to me in a dream!’. Wow!
So, do you want to try them? You could order yourself some treats online at their website or visit the growing number of stores that stock Moral Fibre Food, or you can have a go at winning our giveaway.
